Collection of artifacts from Department of Building Design and Construction

This collection is made up from many historical artifacts from various academic department, starting from the former Royal School of Application for Engineers and Architects up to various models already in the possession of the Department of Building Design and Construction. From the Royal School of Application comes the collection of decorative plaster models, some of which were made by Gaetano Geraci for Ernesto Basile's architecture. From the Department of Building Design and Construction comes the wooden competition model of Alessandro Antonelli's project for the Synagogue of Turin and the Collection of Structural Models consisting of 89 scale reconstructions of construction details.
