Introduction

The University Museum System is the administrative and management structure of the University of Palermo, entrusted with the historical, artistic, scientific, and naturalistic heritage: the cultural identity of the University. Thanks to the constant dedication and the professional experience of the staff of the Museum System, the historical heritage of the University is alive and continuously enhanced, through various restoration activities and numerous cultural initiatives.

Mission

The Museum System is strongly committed to support the cultural identity of Unipa, through public engagement activities, educational and cultural dissemination in the entire community, as well as the establishment and development of cooperation relationships with numerous public and private institutions.

The Museum System is composed of six scientific museums, various historical and archaeological sites and numerous collections which represent the largest widespread museum in the City of Palermo.
