A vast itinerary encompassing the faces, names, and stories of professors and professionals, but above all, of men who, as interpreters of their time, have successfully faced the challenges of history, making a significant contribution to the development of the various scientific fields of Engineering. The proposed itinerary incorporates the interaction between the real and the virtual, a hallmark of our times: in physical locations, panels have been placed with photographs and historical notes on the professor in charge of the room. These panels are accompanied by a QR code linking to a website where a more extensive biography and references can be found.

The project was initiated by the Department of Engineering with the valuable and crucial collaboration of many faculty members, including retired ones, from the University, the Library System, and the Museum System of the University of Palermo.
